Qualifications and Experience Required  for the Positions at Post Graduate Medical Institute:

Assistant Professor – Medical Education

Qualifications:

• MBBS or an equivalent degree recognized by the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC).
• A Master’s degree in Health Professional Education (MHPE) or MCPS-HPE in Health Professional Education.

Experience:

• At least 3 years of experience in Medical Education at a recognized institution.
• Two research articles published as the principal author in a medical journal recognized by PMDC or the Higher Education Commission (HEC).

Manager – Simulation Lab

• Qualifications:
  • MBBS, BS Nursing, BE in Biomedical Engineering, or a BS degree in Paramedical Sciences.
• Experience:
  • At least 3 years of experience working in a Simulation Lab after obtaining the required qualifications.

Biomedical Engineer

• Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor’s degree (BSc/BE) in Electronics or Biomedical Engineering from an HEC-recognized university.
• Experience:
  • At least 2 years of experience in a well-known public or private hospital.

Assistant Programmer

• Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or an equivalent degree from an HEC-recognized university.
• Experience:
  • At least 2 years of experience in software or web development.
  • Knowledge of software and web development frameworks like ASP.Net, WordPress, Bootstrap, and JavaScript, along with experience in database development (SQL Server, MySQL).

Terms & Conditions:

1. A non-refundable processing fee of Rs 1000 must be deposited in MCB A/C No. 0653915911004179, in favor of the Chief Executive Officer, PGMI, Peshawar.
2. Applications should include complete bio-data, academic and experience certificates, two recent photographs, and a CNIC photocopy (attested). Send these to the Chief Executive Officer, PGMI, Hayatabad Phase-V, Peshawar, by August 27, 2024.
3. Experience will only be considered if supported by relevant documentation.
4. Foreign qualifications require an equivalency certificate from HEC Pakistan.
5. Shortlisted candidates will be contacted for an interview. No TA/DA will be provided.
6. Any civil servant selected will be required to resign from their current position.
7. Age of superannuation is 60 years as per government rules.
