The Government of Sindh is addressing the devastating impacts of floods through the Sindh Flood Emergency Rehabilitation Project (SFERP). With financial support from the World Bank, the project is now seeking individual consultants for the following positions:

  1. Procurement Contract Management Consultant
  2. Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Specialist
  3. Environment Consultant

Position Requirements:

1. Procurement Contract Management Consultant

  • Education: Master’s degree (16 years of education) in Business Management, Engineering, Economics, Finance, or Social Sciences. Additional qualifications in Procurement Management, Project Management, or Supply Chain are preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of verified experience in procurement of goods, works, and consulting services with subnational, national, or international agencies.
  • Skills: Proficiency in handling Standard Procurement documents and managing contracts. Strong communication skills in English and Urdu.

2. Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist

  • Education: Master’s degree in Business Management (MBA), Project Management, or Research Methods from a recognized institution.
  • Experience: At least 10 years of relevant experience in monitoring and evaluation roles within the public or private sector.
  • Skills: Ability to develop and manage a project information system, conduct spot checks, and present project progress to stakeholders. Strong communication skills in English and Urdu.

3. Environment Consultant

  • Education: Master’s degree in Environmental Science or Engineering from a recognized university.
  • Experience: 10 years of experience in preparing and implementing Environmental and Social Impact Assessments (ESIA) and Environmental Management Plans (ESMP), preferably in the irrigation sector.
  • Skills: Familiarity with national and international environmental standards, World Bank safeguard policies, and strong communication skills in English and Urdu.
