Qualifications and Experience Required at Benazir Income Support Programme BISP:
1. Financial Management Specialist (FMS)
- Qualifications:
- Must be a Chartered Accountant (ACA) with at least 5 years of experience, or
- A finalist in CMA/ACCA/CA or have a Master’s degree in Finance from a recognized university.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years in Accounts or Financial Management.
- Experience with public sector financial management in Pakistan, especially in social safety projects, is preferred.
- Should be familiar with preparing Financial Statements for large organizations using International Public Sector Accounting Standards (IPSAS).
- Knowledge of the budget process in Pakistan is essential.
- Experience in capacity building, training, and implementing development projects is a plus.
- Must be skilled in using MS Office, accounting software, and ERP systems.
2. Research Methodology and Monitoring & Evaluation Expert
- Qualifications:
- PhD or an equivalent advanced degree in research design, monitoring and evaluation, or a related field.
- Experience:
- At least 10 years of relevant experience, including designing research studies and monitoring projects.
- Preferably, should have published at least seven research papers in the last seven years on topics related to the social sector, such as poverty or disability.
- Strong knowledge of national survey tools and datasets like HIES, PSLM, NNS, and PDHS.
- Experience with data analysis tools like Stata, SPSS, or similar.
3. Data Analytics Expert-II
- Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
- Experience:
- At least 5 years of experience as a Data Analyst or Business Intelligence (BI) Expert.
- Must be proficient in using data analytics tools like Tableau, Power BI, or SQL.
- Experience with metadata management, data modeling, and related tools.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
